Pull up to Coalinga Elks Lodge #1613 on Cambridge Avenue and you'll find something increasingly rare: a genuine community gathering place that actually shows up for its members. Chartered under the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1613 has been a fixture in this Central Valley town, offering a friendly bar, a welcoming hall, and a clean, no-fuss RV parking area behind the building for traveling Elks members passing through on Highway 33 or heading toward Arizona.

The lodge earns its 4.6-star reputation the old-fashioned way: real people, real hospitality. Reviewers consistently mention the friendliness of the staff and members, the easygoing atmosphere of the bar, and the ease of pulling an RV into the rear lot. Even when the lodge is quiet or unstaffed, card-carrying Elks members can still access the RV spots, a small but meaningful gesture that road travelers genuinely appreciate.

Beyond the overnight stop, Lodge 1613 serves the Coalinga community through charitable programs, youth initiatives, and the kind of civic involvement that has defined the Elks order for over 150 years nationally. Whether you're a longtime local member or a road-weary Elk just passing through the San Joaquin Valley, this lodge keeps the light on.

What We Offer

RV parking for Elks members is one of the most talked-about features at Lodge 1613. The spots behind the lodge are clean, accessible, and available to members even during off-hours, making it a reliable overnight stop between California's coast and the desert Southwest.

Inside, the lodge bar offers a relaxed spot to unwind, catch up with fellow members, or simply decompress after a long drive. The atmosphere is low-key and genuinely friendly, the kind of place where you can walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like a regular.

Beyond hospitality, Lodge 1613 supports a full calendar of Elks programming: community fundraisers, youth scholarship events, and member-driven charitable initiatives rooted in the Elks' national mission. The hall is also available for private events and gatherings, giving Coalinga residents a local venue with real community character behind it.

"Unfortunately, when we came into town, the Elks lodge was deserted. As Elks members, though, we were still able to stay in our RV. It's just a spot for a few RVs behind the lodge, but it's clean and very quiet. For just $20 per night for a site with electric and water, a person can't go wrong staying here! Thanks so much!"

"I met some people here and I asked if any of the gentlemen could help me out up an American flag. I was thinking since most of the men there were veteran's they would be honored to help. I'm the new manager at the motel right next door and tell this day no not has ever showed."

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
